This course is suitable for both beginner and experienced artists who are looking either enter this rewarding industry or finetune their existing cosmetic tattoo skills and take their businesses to the next level. In this course, Sarah will openly share her expertise and tips/tricks learnt over the years to help you succeed!

• Two or three days of extensive theory and practical training.

• How to apply correct shading technique, depth and pressure to create flawless Ombré brows.

• Demonstration of different tattoo techniques.

• How to create both soft or bold brows using the Ombré shading method.
• How to correct and coverup old brow tattoos including advanced colour correction knowledge. 

• Practice of the various techniques on practice skin and mannequin head prior to working on a live model.

• How to set up a safe and hygienic workstation.

• Interactive demonstration of the full procedure on a live model performed  by Sarah.

• Practical experience of performing the full procedure on a live model(s) with close supervision and guidance by Sarah. (2 day trainings include 1 practice model. 3 day training includes 2 practice models) 

• Q&A throughout the entire two days to answer all of your questions.

• How to start your business (incl. State rules and regulations, studio set up etc).

• How to create an appealing portfolio, including photography and video taking tips.

• Favourite apps to edit photos and videos.

• Marketing and Social media tips and tricks (inc how to gain clientele)

Training schedule (see above for detailed inclusions):

Day 1 (9:30am - 5 pm): Fundamental theory and practical training + live demonstration model by trainer. 

Day 2 (9:30am - 5 pm): 1:1 Practical training with trainer + guided live practice model.

Day 3 (highly recommended but optional) (half day - flexible timing): Second live practice model where you can troubleshoot your skills and improve on what you learnt from the first practice model.

Booking details: 

• 2:1 Semi-private 2 days: Investment: $3,200 AUD 

• 2:1 Semi-private 3 days: Investment: $3,900 AUD 

  • Please note, with 2:1 training, only the first day will be 2:1 (the first day covers theory, latex practice and live demonstration by trainer) and the second day of training will be 1:1 private with the trainer to ensure each student has 100% supervision whilst undertaking their live practice model. On this basis, the second day of training will be on different days for each student. 

 

• 1:1 Private training 2 days: Investment: $3,500 AUD 

• 1:1 Private training 3 days: Investment: $4,200 AUD

• A $800 booking fee is required to secure your training.

• The remaining balance will be due on the day, before commencement of training.

• An additional charge of $50 is applicable should you require your live practice model to be provided.

• All booking fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

• Payment options are cash, bank transfer or EFTPOS (EFTPOS payments incur a 1.6% surcharge)

Optional additional live model practice

​

SKIM Boutique also offers additional live model guidance sessions in the studio for existing students on a separate day some time after their training. This will allow the student to bring in another model to work on in the studio, under the guidance of the instructor for additional practice and to ask any questions. Working on a additional models is highly recommended as it allows you to work on a different face and troubleshoot what you have learnt from your first model with full guidance by the instructor, in addition to building your portfolio. The duration of the guidance session is up to 4 hrs. The fee is $700. An additional charge of $50 is applicable should you require a live model to be provided.
